Email Volume Add-on
Every Glancito plan includes a fixed number of emails per billing period. The Email Volume Add-on lets merchants send beyond that quota and pay only for what they use — with automatic volume discounts the more they send.
How It Works
- Each plan defines an included email quota (e.g. 1,000 emails/period).
- Merchants can opt in to overage billing from Settings → Email Sending Identity.
- Once opted in, emails sent beyond the included quota are billed at the plan's per-1,000-email rate.
- Volume discount tiers kick in automatically as usage grows — no action required.
- The usage counter resets automatically at the start of each new billing period.
Viewing Your Usage
Go to Settings → Email Sending Identity. At the top of the page you will see the Email Volume Add-on card showing:
- Emails sent this billing period vs. your included quota
- A progress bar that turns amber at 80% and red when the quota is exhausted
- Emails remaining in the current period
- Your overage rate and any volume discount tiers
- A projected overage charge if you are already over quota
Enabling the Add-on
- Go to Settings → Email Sending Identity
- In the Email Volume Add-on card, toggle Enable on
- The toggle is only available if your plan supports overage billing — upgrade your plan if you do not see it
Once enabled, emails that exceed your included quota are billed at the per-1,000 rate shown in the card. You can disable the add-on at any time; emails will still be sent up to your included quota.
Volume Discounts
Overage pricing decreases automatically as your usage grows within a billing period. Your plan's tiers are shown in the add-on card. Example:

The rate that applies at any point is the highest tier whose threshold you have crossed. Tiers vary by plan — check your add-on card for exact pricing.
For Glancito Admins
Email pricing is configured per plan in the Admin → Subscription Plans editor:

Volume tiers are sorted automatically — the highest applicable tier always wins.
FAQ
What counts as an email send? Every email dispatched through Glancito — journey emails, campaign blasts, and any other loyalty notification — counts toward the period total.
What happens if I hit my quota and have not opted in? Emails that would exceed your included quota are still sent (Glancito does not hard-stop them), but no overage charge is applied. Enable the add-on if you want to guarantee delivery beyond your quota without interruption.
When does the counter reset? At the end of each billing period (aligned to your subscription renewal date). The counter is checked every 6 hours.
Can I see a history of email usage? Not yet — detailed per-period history is on the roadmap. The current card always shows the active period.
